When you choose from our individual premounted grapevines, yes, you will receive exactly the one you choose. In other cases you well receive the size requested. But they are natural forms — no two are identical. What you receive will match the species, scale, and general character shown, but expect variation in exact shape, branching pattern, and tone.

Each Curator Wall Mount supports up to 15 lbs when properly installed. In practice, weight is rearely the deciding factor in using two or more mounts. Additonal mounts are used to improve balance, angle and overall stability. With two or more mounts, the branch can be oriented freely, allowing the installation to feel intentional, secure and architecturally composed.

These natural branches are remarkably durable and will last many years. If the sandblasted wood is exposed to direct sunlight they will eventually fade to a warm driftwood grey.

Minimal care is required. Dust with a dry cloth, or for a deeper clean, simply loosen the set screws and slide the branch free from the wall — inner tube and all — hose it off outside, and let it dry completely before reinstalling. Avoid furniture polish or chemical cleaners.

It's a low-toxicity, EPA-registered treatment that works by disrupting the digestive systems of wood-boring insects, making the wood effectively indigestible to them. For indoor use, the protection is long-lasting. It presents minimal risk to humans and pets.
